Welcome!
We welcome you warmly in Jesus' name to our spiritual family here at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and School.
We are a Christian congregation affiliated with The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. Our congregation, located on the border of Mple Grove and Corcoran, has been serving God's people in this area with Word and Sacrament since 1864. We are committed to preaching the Gospel purely according to the Lutheran Confessions and properly administering our Lord's Sacraments according to His institution.
Our worship services follow a traditional format using the best liturgical tradition of the Lutheran Church as currently found in our church body's hymnal--Lutheran Service Book.

We celebrate the Lord's Supper weekly, as is good Lutheran tradition. Our celebration of the Lord's Supper is reserved for members in good standing of congregations affiliated with The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. We ask that visitors from sister LCMS congregations who share our faith and doctrine announce their desire to commune with us to one of our pastors before joining us at the Lord's Table.

This Week

The congregations in our circuit are praying for one another this year. This week we pray for our Confessional Lutheran Educational Foundation (CLEF) in other nations. May God pour out His Spirit on Reverend John Fehrmann and the congregation he serves keeping them faithful to our Lord’s Word, and bringing them to the great wedding Feast of the Lamb in His Kingdom.

Special Feast Days

No special feast days this coming week.

Verse

Alleluia. We know that Christ being raised from the dead will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. Alleluia. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Alleluia. (Romans 6:9; John 14:18)

Prayer

Gracious Lord Jesus, come to us this morning in the bread and wine of Your Supper and assure us in this holy Meal of our place at the heavenly banquet Feast You are preparing for all Your people. Through our union with You in the waters of holy baptism we know that death no longer has any dominion over us. All thanks and praise be Yours now and forever. Amen.
